The ten-part series The Great War in our mind is comprised of philosophical readings on the impact of the First World War on the way of thinking of the western individual. With the help of the pacifist and the community art of Henri Barbusse, Käthe Kollwitz, Frans Masereel, Yvan Goll and Blaise Cendrars, Dr. Matthijs de Ridder gives a broad outline of the ideological and philosophical struggle in artistic thinking during and after the First World War.
