During this free festival the audience is taken on a journey into sound poetry, performance poetry and visual poetry through performances, exhibitions, a book fair, a conference and workshops for both young and old. Experimental forms of poetry will be created and presented in situ at new and unusual locations. Besides the crème de la crème of the experimental poetry scene from the Dutch-speaking regions, the #Brusselspoetryfest is also presenting the best from all over the world. A niche festival, completely devoted to the contemporary avant-garde that isn't afraid to enter into dialogue with the mainstream. More information can be found on http://poetryfest.brussels. On Friday 11 September deBuren will be hosting the academic seminar on experimental poetry with such speakers as Katarzyna Bazarnik (PL), Laura Lopez Fernadez (NZ), Sharon Mesmer (US), a.rawlings (CA), Kiene Brillenburg Wurth (NL) en Frank Keizer (NL).
