Now that more and more practicing Muslims are coming into power in Turkey, the women's rights' movement finds itself in a dilemma. Is the tension between tradition and modernization in east and west Istanbul illustrative for what is happening as regards gender? A debate with Bernard Bouwman (correspondent in Turkey), writer/journalist Ece Temelkuran and Meryem Ilayda Atlas. With the participation of Ilyas Odman (choreographer and dancer) and Sükran Moral (performance artist) moderated by Meryem Kanmaz.
