In 2013 it will be 150 years ago that slavery was officially abolished in the Netherlands. And yet even there thousands of people are still being systematically exploited. Take the traffic in women, illegal seasonal work, ... combating it is anything but easy. Why? Is today's society unthinkable without slavery?
