From Purcell to folk music: Dapper's Delight (recorder and concertina) play popular tunes from the sixteenth and seventeenth century with tentacles reaching out to old and classical music. Their name refers to the Dutch history-geographer Olfert Dapper who wrote hefty volumes about far away countries, without ever leaving Dutch soil. He didn't take it to heart and neither do Dapper's Delight. A repertoire that once both the ‘noblesse' and the rank and file enjoyed and a great way to end the season!
